#172 Add 'base' and 'Mate' variants

Download 172.patch

This adds:

  • a 'Mate' desktop variant based on the Mate Spin.
  • a 'base' variant that does not has a default desktop environment making this ideal for people running minimal window manager such as Sway, i3, etc.
