Hello,
using revisor-cli-2.1.1-4 on a Fedora 9 64 bits system. Just letting you know that after installation the /usr/share/revisor/scripts/F8-buildinstall was not executable. Not really a bug, but might be worth knowing. Below is the bug i want to report.
When building a rhel5 x86_64 iso file the error below occures several times (also see revisor.log). The build continues and produces an iso file. The error:
/usr/share/revisor/scripts/F8-buildinstall: BFD: BFD version 2.18.50.0.6-2 20080403 internal error, aborting at ../../bfd/elf.c line 4732 in assign_file_positions_for_non_load_sections /usr/share/revisor/scripts/F8-buildinstall: /usr/share/revisor/scripts/F8-buildinstall: BFD: Please report this bug.
I tried to install the iso on a Virtual machine which fails when trying to select cd-rom as the installation location. I can select the language, the keyboard and that's as far as it goes. The error is:
Failed to mount loop: invalid argument mounting stage2 failed.
I'm not sure if these two errors are related.
config file revisor.conf
Revisor.log revisor.log
attachment revisor-rh50-x86_64.conf
attachment test-ks.cfg
Firts addition:
i just found out that revisor uses the F8-buildinstall script instead of the RHEL5-buildinstall script. Executing a # revisor --list-models is shows the rhel5 model, but no description. Does it default to the Fedora 8 model if revisor doesn't understand what i want to do?
There's a bunch of challenges composing EL5 from a Fedora 9+ station;

As for the part where F8-buildinstall is used, have you set "version_from = RHEL5" in the model configuration?
Closing, thanks.
