This also happens with cobbler import_tree() ... hmm.
{{{ how about the --install-tree copies symlinks? yeah.. that is strange those better not be from the yum-cache, right? the cobbler import_tree also copies the symlinks this is all when using file:// for a repo i'm not sure what happens when we use something else ohw it says in the ticket description that it moves symlinks well the end result is there are symlinks and not files in /srv/revisor, right? in some cases that would be neat.. or hardlinks yes and is /var/www/cobbler where do these symlinks go to? as with the cobbler_import() the source listed in the repo with file:// urls? yes great, +1, keep it that way euh, that just my vote ;-) yeah, i have no idea what to do about it neither do i but it is a doc item for now, it's not a big deal and thus i still released because symlinks to updates/.rpm and rsync --delete.... gives you dead symlinks correct so importing into the cobbler tree.. might need* to be a full cp right, i'll add it to the ticket as with the --install-tree also }}}
Let's create a doc on setting up repositories telling people that do not want this behaviour because they are like syncing with a remote repo beyond their control, to use http://localhost/path instead
