Mostly Rust ones, but also fish, meson and ninja.

Unfortunately modularity is not going anywhere so let's prepare to
demodularize those applications and find some other way for shipping
them into stable releases.

+1 to remove meson and ninja. I think it's a good call and best to treat them as part of the base distro.

@ignatenkobrain The changes are fine, but would you mind revising the commit message to be a little less hostile? I'd prefer not to have "modularity is not going anywhere" in the git log.

@sgallagh well, that is the motivation of the commit. I can definitely delete it, but reasoning will be lost then.
