@zbyszek more fallout from bin-sbin merge:
RuntimeError: file /usr/sbin/subscription-manager conflicts between attempted installs of subscription-manager-1.30.2-1.eln144.aarch64 and subscription-manager-1.30.2-1.eln144.aarch64
This package installs the actual subscription-manager command to /usr/sbin, and a symlink to consolehelper in /usr/bin.
subscription-manager
consolehelper
/cc @ptoscano
Yeah, that's a tricky one. I would prefer it the maintainers (@ptoscano, @jhnidek, @ngompa) handle this one. Most likely the actual binary needs to be moved somewhere else, but where exactly is something to be decided.
Filed: https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/subscription-manager/pull-request/54
As I mentioned there: the proper fix for this is getting rid of usermode, and there's work upstream for that.
I've sent https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/subscription-manager/pull-request/56 , which backports both upstream changes that address this. I think we ought to merge that and not wait for the new upstream release, "one to two weeks possibly" seems like a long time to leave ELN composes broken.
I merged that PR (and then AdamW commited another fix for the changelog). The resulting updates have gone stable (https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2025-65f25dbadd, https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2025-3de666755c).
Thanks everyone for your help, we finally got a new ELN compose today.
