I'm assuming this works as expected, so LGTM.
The only thing I'm wondering is if gitee really only supports ZIP format downloads? Usually smaller archives (.tar.gz or even .tar.xz or .tar.bz2) are preferred.
We cannot support Gitee downloads since they require authentication to work.
So spectool -g wouldn't work? That's unfortunate ...
spectool -g
I think if there is a full URL for Source or Patch, the expectation is that spectool -g could download those files. If it can't ... I'm not sure it's a good idea to use full URLs instead of just file names.
It works, see https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2358245
Sorry, think correct. Git clone works without authentication. Maybe it is helpful to make a fedora project users for automated downloads?
That review sources GItHub, not Gitee.
I do not think we should document Gitee at all while this problem exists.
wget does work from fedorapeople.org - it does not seem to work from every ip address.
as evidenced by https://download.copr.fedorainfracloud.org/results/fed500/chinese-segmentation/fedora-rawhide-x86_64/08873294-chinese-segmentation/fedora-review/review.txt
Same problem will likely occur at https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2358213
This was basically /thread, if they fix it feel free to reopen.
