Hi all,
This page https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Packaging:UsersAndGroups is obsolete as the new guidelines are in https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/packaging-guidelines/UsersAndGroups/.
Can someone mark it as such and add a redirect or a link? I don't have edit powers there.
Thanks!
There are also multiple other pages in the wiki Package guidelines category that are obsolete, but not properly flagged as such. This email to the packaging list has all of them: Wiki Package:SourceURL needs the OldGuidelinePage tag
Any PRs would be welcome.

The page mentioned in this issue in on the Wiki and I don't have the powers to edit it. It can not be fixed with a PR. Re-opening.

I think this was closed by accident. I think @tibbs knows how to set up the magic redirects in the Wiki?
I used to know. If I can figure it out again I will try to add some more redirects in the wiki.
For the record, you edit the wiki page to include something like the following:
{{#fedoradocs:https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/packaging-guidelines/Python/}}
That redirects the Packaging:Python page into the current guidelines. I've fixed the Users and Groups page and will look for others.

I want to add so that it's at least recorded somewhere: we had held off on deleting some of the wiki pages because we were afraid that things were lost in the conversion from the wiki to asciidoc. And while we do find these occasionally, but it's not worth leaving the old pages easily accessible. If you want the old version of a page, you can still get to it using something like https://fedoraproject.org/w/index.php?title=Packaging:Naming&action=history.
