#615 Requesting sponsorship for kb1000
Closed: accepted by kevin. Opened by kb1000.

It seems as if the bot was supposed to open this issue, but it didn't, so here we go:
Hi there, I'm currently trying to work with @elmarco to bring RenderDoc back into the Fedora repositories after the package got orphaned and then retired. He has approved the review request, so we're now at the stage where I'd need a sponsor.
RHBZ: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2254392

I haven't really been involved with the Fedora community yet, but I'm using Fedora since release 30 and have been using it as a daily driver ever since my Windows broke one time too often.
Some time later, I created and started maintaining the half-official RPM package of MultiMC, which I've published on COPR since, and started maintaining a personal repository containing an updated version of RenderDoc when its package was orphaned.
I'm from Germany and German is my native language, but I'm mostly fluent in English as well. I have a wide range of interests in programming, I'm currently primarily working with java in Minecraft modding and web backend development, but I'm also experimenting with OS and game development and many other things.
I quite like Fedora, and I'd love to try helping with making it even better!

Bad bot!
I created an issue for that, and I will take a look at it later

@frostyx what's the process from here? find provenpackagers to ack the request here? how many? thanks

Hey @elmarco

Sorry this hasn't been picked up by anyone yet. ;(

There's an outstanding question on the review bug, could you answer that?

@kevin regarding ExculsiveArch usage? ok, let's address this. It was originally like that, but we can try to improve that. What else is needed to sponsor kb1000? thanks

@kevin ping, thanks

Hey @kb1000 and @elmarco sorry for the delay, it's been very busy. ;(

I've sponsored kb1000 now. Please continue with the process and do contact me if you have any questions or there's anything I can help with.
