Hello @thebeanogamer, please let us know if you already found a sponsor somewhere else. In such case we can assign the correct person to this ticket and not interfere with their process.
Feel free take this opportunity to also say a few words about yourself. It is not mandatory so you don't have to, but it will help us form a human connection.
Hey all,
I'd really appreciate sponsorship into the packagers group please, and am super excited about the idea of being able to contribute to Fedora.
I've sent out an introduction to devel as requested.
I've also raised a couple of pull requests against FedoraReview (see here) to try and automate catching some of the mistakes I made, and I plan to submit a few more. Ideally I'd like to fixup the existing test suite so it can run in CI.

Thanks again!
Hey @thebeanogamer Sorry for the delay here. :(
I'll go ahead and sponsor you into the packager group, you can move on to the next step (requesting the new package be added) at https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/package-maintainers/New_Package_Process_for_New_Contributors/#add_package_to_source_code_management_scm_system_and_set_owner (sorry thats a long link :)
Please do reach out to me via email or in matrix/irc ( #devel:fedoraproject.org / #fedora-devel libera.chat) if you have any questions at all.
Welcome to packaging!
