I assume by asking here the implication is that siwinski is not yet sponsored?

I believe he does maintain some packages already, I was just following: http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/How_to_get_sponsored_into_the_packager_group#Become_a_co-maintainer

Apologies if I misread it... can you point me to correct location to get him added to my packages?

siwinski is already sponsored, so use pkgdb to add him
ex : https://admin.fedoraproject.org/pkgdb/acls/name/drupal6-context

maybe I am missing something, but all I see are options to:

  1. Retire Package
  2. Add myself to package (which I am already there)
  3. Release Ownership (which I guess I don't want to, I just want to add a new owner).

Does siwinski have to get into those packages himself, and click on "Add myself to package"?

User siwinski needs to add himself to all packages and request commit (or other) rights. Afterwards you can approve the request(s).

Indeed, siwinski is already sponsored, so there is nothing the sponsors can really do for you here. I happen to be a pkgdb admin but this really isn't the kind of thing which needs an admin. siwinski should just add himself to the packages in question.
