For the past 1-2 days, I've gotten a massive amount of spam from the packager-sponsors@fedoraproject.org list / address ... can this be prevented please? :)
Some spammers seem to have harvested/guessed several other Fedora Project addresses, too.
Well, this is not an list, it's a alias.
Incoming email does pass though redhat.com, and they do scan it for spam. They do not howver drop anything, they just add headers:
X-RedHat-Spam-Score: 4.061 **** (DKIM_SIGNED,DKIM_VALID,DKIM_VALID_AU,HTML_IMAGE_RATIO_02,HTML_MESSAGE,RAZOR2_CF_RANGE_51_100,RAZOR2_CHECK,SPF_HELO_NONE,SPF_PASS) 170.130.51.90 mail-a.greyinkstudiotwo.com 170.130.51.90 mail-a.greyinkstudiotwo.com <leaffilter-affiliate-packager+2Dsponsors=fedoraproject.org@agitpno.com> X-Scanned-By: MIMEDefang 2.84 on 10.5.110.62
You may want to filter on that header, and/or make sure these emails get scanned by your normal spam filtering.
I'm not sure what more we can do. If you can think of anything, please open an infra ticket (I don't think all sponsors care about this conversation)
