The list of packages needing sponsor grows and I find myself with a little bit of time I didn't previously expect to have.

I've been packaging for a while now and was kindly admitted to ProvenPackager status last year whilst working on more owncloud updates.

The packages I maintain are an interesting mix of C++, python and PHP and I've carried out reviews for a similarly diverse spread of packages over time.

Given all this I'd like to step up and help new potential packagers understand our guidelines and grow the community further.

I kindly request to be given Sponsor status so I can begin to engage with FE_NEEDSPONSOR bugs and help with the queue.
