I'd like to be a packager sponsor. I've contributed packages to Fedora and EPEL for a number of years, and have also drafter the emacs packaging guidelines.
It's usually good to give a bit of info. With three completed reviews, one stalled (not Jonathan's fault, though; the review work was good) and two in progress, that's right on the edge of the minimum review requirements.
Having worked with Jonathan in the past on the emacs packaging guidelines and such, I think he'd be a good sponsor though I really would like to see more package reviews. Still, I'll +1 his request.

But please consider that as a sponsor, you should be doing more reviews. Introducing new packagers in Fedora is fine, but if there are nobody to review submissions, then it's all wasted.
I don't think jgu has enough reviews. Three completed reviews is something I think every new packager should do. I'd suggest first doing some more (totaling 10+) and then asking again.
Hi folks. Thanks for considering this. I'm not sure what your rules are on voting, but in any case I'd prefer to only be a sponsor with a unanimous vote, and the concerns raised over my number of reviews are entirely reasonable. So for now I'll withdraw my application an come back when I've done more reviews. Thanks for your time. Jonathan.
The rules for voting are simple: wait 7 days, count the vote total. If there's a +3 differential, the vote passes.

I'll go ahead and close this out. Feel free to open a new ticket whenever you're ready.
