@snavin --- what are the implications of this? Does this mean selinux would be disabled on the installation image? If at all possible, we should leave it enabled. So it's worth looking at how the official spin images are made---I'm quite sure selinux is not disabled there. :bulb:

I think SELinux it's a little picky, but we need to figure out how to enable SELinux in the final spin image

I installed the ISO in a new VM and selinux is disabled. I enabled it and it rewrote fine, but upon login i get a "No session for PID n" message. Its related to lxpolkit and i havent found a resolution yet. Also, I noticed I can reboot as my regular user anymore, it gives me "Failed to connect to bus: Connection refused.

For now I can just manually add the selinux --disabled to make the test runs work. Closing this PR without pushing changes.

I will research more at future time and update on the main thread #199.

This could be an LXDE specific issue and may go away once we switch to
Gnome?
