#278 Fedora Podcast Password managment
Closed: Not possible by riecatnor. Opened by computerkid.

With the Fedora Podcast we have a bunch of logins, like our hosting provider and distributors, which don't let us have multiple accounts. It would be awesome if we could have the two current hosts have an organization, plus @riecatnor. I'm requesting we have a https://bitwarden.com/ teams organization, which is $3 a month per user, so $9 for us. Bitwarden is open source, and very community focused.

Side note, it would be awesome if we could be a test case for maybe even rolling this out project wide for teams to use. The enterprise plan even allows SSO integration.

This seems to be a little bit overkill for just so little passwords. https://www.passwordstore.org/ with a git repository might be a good alternative that you can already use with the current Fedora infrastructure.

Hi @computerkid I like the thought process on making this sustainable. We have some methods for this already involving the CPE team, I think @nb can tell you who to connect with on that.

Generally we want to avoid picking up small software-as-a-service type subscriptions, and focus on solutions that benefit a large swathe of the community. It isn't the actual amount of the fees that is problematic, it is the administrative overhead. Hope that makes sense
