#4 Common issues need more tags than 5
Closed by kparal. Opened by kparal.

(Hi, I decided to file here some tasks which we need to do related to Common Issues, even if they are not directly related to issuebot, because it's better to have them somewhere track-able than in the forum. If you think I should file it elsewhere, please tell me.)

When I create a new topic in Proposed Common Issues, I'm allowed to attach only 5 tags at maximum. That is quite limiting for these use cases, because for a generic issue I waste 3 tags just to mark it as fedora-linux-34, fedora-linux-35 and fedora-linux-36. And now I only have 2 tags to use.

Can you please configure Discourse to allow more tags to be attached, at least in the (Proposed) Common Issues category? Thanks.

An example topic where more than 5 tags would be needed:
https://ask.fedoraproject.org/t/video-hardware-acceleration-fails-in-firefox-98-and-later/20546

For example, adding video tag would be helpful, but it's over the limit.

I don't see why not — I think generally our posts are under-tagged rather than over. I've put this to 7 for now — let's see how that goes.

Thanks! I'll shout if it's still not enough in some case.
