This ticket tracks changes required for FreeIPA to work with bind 9.18+. A test version of bind 9.18 (still unreleased) is built in COPR abbra/bind-test.

Already identified issues:

  • bind 9.17.2+ all dnssec utilities were moved to /usr/bin with commit 4419606c9d2a52536a6dd0882ac0c7068ac27f30.

  • test_upgrade should skip dnssec-enable-related issues where dnssec-enable option was completely removed.
