FreeIPA's built-in LDAP abnormal shutdown. FreeIPA version is 4.6.4, OS version is redhat7.6, and the /var/log/messages system log contains the following key information:
Dec 22 04:59:37 bd-paas-freeipal kernel: ns-slapd[81938]: segfault at 0 ip 00007f2d0c74f317 sp 00007f2ccf60c118 error 4 in libnspr4.so[7f2d0c740000+3a000] Dec 22 04:59:37 bd-paas-freeipal named-pkcs11[79252]: LDAP error: error: Can't contact LDAP server: ldap_sync_poll() failed Dec 22 04:59:37 bd-paas-freeipal named-pkcs11[79252]: Idap_syncrepl will reconnect in 60 seconds Dec 22 04:59:37 bd-paas-freeipal systemd: dirsrv@MTS-BCS.service: main process exited,code=killed, status=11/SEGV Dec 22 04:59:37 bd-paas-freeipal systemd: Unit dirsrv@MIS-BCS.service entered failed state. Dec 22 04:59:37 bd-paas-freeipal systemd: dirsrv@MIS-BCS.service failed.
This is a crash in libnspr4 and not in FreeIPA itself. FreeIPA team upstream cannot do anything with this crash.
If you have a RHEL subscription that entitles you for support of that RHEL version, you need to open a support case with Red Hat and handle it there. Nothing FreeIPA upstream can do for you here.
