Currently I have a single point problem with FreeIPA's built-in LDAP. FreeIPA's built-in LDAP is abnormally shut down. Even if other services such as KDC in FreeIPA are normal, the entire FreeIPA service is unavailable.
Can FreeIPA not use the built-in LDAP? I tried to modify the ldap_uri = ldap://$ip:389 in /etc/ipa/default.conf, but the verification was not successful.

Please do not use issue-reporting system to search for a help in your deployment. Please use freeipa-users@ mailing list for that.

On your specific issue: IPA server is treated as a whole. If one component does not work, the whole server should be offline, not a single component. This is by design and will not be changed.

It is better to show your proper logs that demonstrate a problem through a separate post on freeipa-users@.
