#5542 ipa-replica-install: with specified --server or --domain option client should be installed
Closed: Fixed Opened by mbasti.

# ipa-replica-install --server vm-058-137.example.com --domain example.com
ipa.ipapython.install.cli.install_tool(Replica): ERROR IPA client is not configured on this system.
You must join the system by running 'ipa-client-install' first. Alternatively, you may specify enrollment related options directly, see man ipa-replica-install.
ipa.ipapython.install.cli.install_tool(Replica): ERROR The ipa-replica-install command failed. See /var/log/ipareplica-install.log for more information

I would expect that ipa-replica-install with specified one of --server/--domain option assume that client should be installed.

I had to add also --password option to install client as part of replica promotion.
