Hello @linuxsystemroles,
during our periodic check as per the "Inactive packagers policy" we detected no activity from you as a packager, nor in other Fedora community places, like Bodhi or mailing lists.
In order to reduce security risks from possible accounts hijacking we're trying to contact you to know if you're still reachable and if your email set in Fedora Account System (sys**@lists.fedorahosted.org) is still valid.
Please, let us know if you're still intersted in participating in Fedora and if you still need your account to be listed in the packager group.
packager
Without any reply from you, in two months the packager group membership will be removed from your account and any package for which you are the main admin will be orphaned, so that co-maintainers can pick them up.
Yes, I am still interested in participating in Fedora. Please list my account in the packager group.
What do I need to do in order to prevent my account from being listed as inactive? Note that almost all of the maintenance of the linux-system-roles package is done by packit automation - the upstream repo uses https://github.com/linux-system-roles/auto-maintenance/blob/main/.packit.yaml - so we (the linux-system-roles package human maintainers) touch the Fedora repos directly rarely.
packit
"Inactive" means: - no activity in src.fedoraproject.org or pagure.io - no mails sent on fedora mailing lists - no Bodhi activity (comments or pushing updates) - no bugzilla activity - no discussion.fedoraproject.org activity
Using a shared account for packaging purpose is highly discouraged (or forbidden? I don't know).

Ah, I see. This issue is directed at the pseudo account linuxsystemroles which is not used for any packaging activity - it's only used for notifications.
linuxsystemroles
So, do you think we can remove linuxsystemroles from the packager group? From a quick check, no package is "owned" by that user and if it should not require commit access to repositories I think it would be better to limit their privileges. What do you think?
Sure. let's remove linuxsystemroles from the packager group. If it breaks something, we can always add it back.
