Would it be better to put KRB_REALMS in fedpkg.conf and fedpkg-stage.conf individually?

That's a very good point. If the value is in config, then it should be read in rpkg directly; the same way for example distgit_namespaced option is processed.

I have opened PRs to do it in config: rpkg#153 and fedpkg#75

Since those two PRs have been merged ,this can be closed.
