#60 wayland remoting
Closed: Fixed by catanzaro. Opened by mclasen.

Here is a change proposal to bring back fully supported desktop sharing under Wayland for F29:

https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Changes/WaylandRemoteDesktop

A few of the tasks require a WG approval:
* Install gnome-remote-desktop by default
* Make the pipewire service socket-activated

Updates from the meeting: we voted to accept the two proposed actions here.

Remaining work is to kill vino (still required by multiple components) and move gnome-remote-desktop from Jonas's personal GitLab namespace to somplace permanent. But I don't think this requires WG tracking anymore.

What's the status of this issue? Can it happen for Fedora 33 or 34?

AFAIK it's ready and part of GNOME 3.38 (or even 3.36?) and thus be part of F33.

Oh the problem here was that it's not installed on upgrade. That is, it's blocked on #138.

Having too many open issues is getting messy. This should be fixed soon in #138.
