on fp.org, Would it be possible to replace the 10 years in fedora banner with one promoting the Fedora Magazine?
What banner are you talking about? The Heisenburg 20 one?
Yes we can do it easily and I think it's not a bad idea to drop the 10 years now, as we are going towards 11 years :)
Can you provide us the banners and the text we should display?

here is a mockup of the concept:

Not sure about the text, going to check with the fedoramarketing list to see if it is ok.
attached is the ribbon graphic for use in the page.
Also, is it possible to make the whole banner a link to fedora magazine?
the background i used is http://subtlepatterns.com/binding-light/ which is cc-by, so we will need to attribute it in the html source.
Suggested text change:
Hed: Fedora Magazine: All the News That's Fit to print()
Body: Fedora Magazine is your ultimate source of information for everything Fedora-related. You'll find news, reviews, and regular updates about Fedora releases and the Fedora community."
another quick mockup with the new suggested text (the text gets my +1 too).

robyduck, when you get around to implementing this, is there any way to see it staged up before it goes live?

Ryan, I did a quick patch for it, just if you want to have a look on it. I need to stop because I won't be around for a week. If you're fine with it or want changes just add them here, someone will add them and apply the patch.
Still missing: * cc-by attribution; * link to fedmag is the normal "learn more" text; * not sure about the font and color;
Thank you for the banners, text and mockup.
When applying the patch please update also the POT and push it to TX, thx.
Fixed font and the link to fedmag and pushed it into production. POT is updated too. Does anyone want to add the cc-by attribution? The rest should be ok. Thanks again Ryan, and jzb for the text.
Sure, I can do that.
I added the CC-BY attribution. Everything else should be ok.
Thanks, Ryan, jzb, and robyduck.
