I will link this discussion here. Seems that the config of grub2 is either intended or somehow incorrect.

There was a fix suggested but it is always overwritten after a new update.
From my side I say what I always say regarding this topic: on an UEFI system (today I guess this is almost all PCs) you don't need grub.
I have replaced it and that's it for me.
