#859 Kill QA landing page
Closed: Fixed by adamwill. Opened by kparal.

Last year we decided to get rid of QA landing page deployed to https://qa.fedoraproject.org , because we don't have the manpower to maintain it and it's currently of very little use.

The point of this ticket is to drop the currently deployed version at https://qa.fedoraproject.org , i.e. make sure the project is taken down and all its references are removed from Fedora infra.

Furthermore, ideally make sure that https://qa.fedoraproject.org is redirected to something reasonable instead (if possible), probably the best is to https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/QA .

The Pagure project wasn't migrated to Forge, so no work needed there.

https://pagure.io/fedora-infra/ansible/pull-request/3054 should do this, but I'm not 100% confident in all the details, will see what infra team says.

Thanks, Adam. I didn't realize we also need to kill LandingPage from OpenShift. I'm not sure how to do that. I see that inside the blockerbugs project, there are two deployments, one for blockerbugs, one for qa-landing. I don't seem to have enough permissions to delete the qa-landing deployment, though. I'm also not sure if there are more places that should be pruned.

(And of course we should do it in both prod and stg environments).

This is pretty much done now. We need somebody else to delete the qa-landing deployment, deploymentconfig, service and route in prod openshift, though. I had power to do it in staging but not prod. @kevin lil help?

OK, kevin did it, this is all done now.

Unfortunately the https://qa.fedoraproject.org redirect leads to https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/QA/ instead of https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/QA , which means it shows a blank wiki page :-(

But the URL is correct in https://pagure.io/fedora-infra/ansible/pull-request/3054 , so what's wrong? Any idea, @adamwill ?

If this is not trivial to solve, I can create a wiki redirect from https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/QA/ to https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/QA .
