#683 Propose to host a DNS Over TLS Test Day
Closed: Wontfix by adamwill. Opened by ahmedalmeleh.

Ownership - I plan to host the test day.

Time frame - Thursday 25/11/2021 or 2/12/2021

Feature(s) - DNS Over TLS: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Changes/DNS_Over_TLS

Could someone assign this to me as for some reason I can't take my own issue.

Hey @ahmedalmeleh!

When do you plan this test day?
What test cases are you planning to test for?
Let's talk more on IRC!

Metadata Update from @sumantrom:
- Issue assigned to ahmedalmeleh
- Issue set to the milestone: Fedora 36
- Issue tagged with: test days

The test case hasn't been created yet on the wiki however I will base it on the "How To Test" section in the: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Changes/DNS_Over_TLS page.

I put 2 dates for the community to choose. Which do you think will be best?

Also the times will be from 0:00 UTC to 23:59 UTC on either of them dates (I'm from London UK.)

Hey @ahmedalmeleh

Were you able to create the Test Case?
Let me know, if you need some help

Didn't really have the time I think you could create it.

No worries, I am going to talk with the maintainer for a later date and do the needful.

[Update] I briefly spoke to MichaelCatanzaro and he recommends to not proceed until we get https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2006393 fixed. This test day is on hold at the moment and will be revisited later this cycle.

This Change didn't ultimately happen, per the note on the Change page, so neither did the test day.
