Hi! So, there's a bit of a problem here in that we don't have any policy or procedures for this area at present. I've been meaning to write some stuff up for years but never got around to it.

I think we should set something up before handing out any more sponsor statuses, because we do want people to follow the Join page instructions when joining. I actually have a sort of process I use for handling group join requests but I've never written it down :/

When I get back off vacation I'll write up some drafts for this area and send them off to the mailing list, then once we have some kind of process in place we can add more sponsors, if that's OK with you!
