#415 SSD Cache
Closed: Fixed Opened by ignatenkobrain.

I'd like to do SSD Cache Test Day at 13.10.2013

Excellent, count me in. The SSD cache scope for F20 is very limited (Self Contained), but some F21 features (System Wide) are also getting into shape for F20. The precise scope will become clear before the Test Day.

The SSD Cache feature is an interesting one. But the attendance barrier is high here - only people with an unused SSD disk can participate, right? Do we have enough of such people in our test community? Will we have more than say three, four people?

Except for performance, functional testing can be done without having a SSD. I'm currently testing mostly in a VM (with actually the virtual SSD being mapped to a logical volume on a physical one).

I think we should have more 3-4 people. Also people can test this at VM, as Rolf said.
