I've had a discussion recently with Brandon Perkins around possible community uptake on spacewalk testing. Hosting a spacewalk test day seems like a great idea! We've used Fedora test day slots for upstream project events in the past, so I don't see issue with doing so here. Unfortunately, I'm not up to speed on the technical aspects of spacewalk testing. The Fedora QA team can assist with marketing/communication for the event and with massaging wiki content.

If you require a test server for testers, I recommend filing a infrastructure "Request for resources" - https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Infrastructure/RFR.

I'll leave this ticket open to track the history of the idea. But in summary, this sounds like a great idea. Fedora QA can assist with getting the word out, general test day guidance, and massaging wiki content. You'll need to prepare test cases and provide instructions for testers by way of a wiki page.

Any updates on the space walk client tools event? The fedora 12 test day calendar is open now, as is dates after the release of Fedora 12. This might be an opportune time to schedule the event.

Changing milestone to 'Fedora 13'
