#212 Review Fedora on Amazon EC2 Test Day wiki page:
Closed: Fixed Opened by athmane.

I've created a draft of Fedora on Amazon EC2 Test Day wiki page:

https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/User:Athmane/Draft_Test_Day_Cloud_SIG_Fedora_EC2

Currently, I created the following test cases (some of them are used somewhere else):

https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/QA:Testcase_Yum_basics
https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/QA:Testcase_rsyslog
https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/QA:Testcase_OpenSSH

I'll create more as soon as I find time.

I've updated 'Testing the Images' section

I've added Sendmail test case:

https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/QA:Testcase_Sendmail

I've added Postfix test case:

https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/QA:Testcase_Postfix

I've added HTTPd test case:

https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/QA:Testcase_HTTPd

This is looking really great, thanks for the work. James has put the F16 Test Day schedule up now:

https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/QA/Fedora_16_test_days

do you want to talk to the Cloud team and see if you can pick a day for this event? thanks!

I talked to Robyn Bergeron on #fedora-qa, seems that the images are not yet ready

And on cloud list:
http://lists.fedoraproject.org/pipermail/cloud/2011-July/000659.html

you can book a date a long time in advance, months if you like - it's just good to pick a date so people know when the event is coming and can keep the day free.

This test day is also valid for Fedora 15, so Cloud SIG need a date out of Fedora 16 test days.

well, we organize test days according to the Fedora release cycle they happen in, that's what 'Fedora 16 Test Days' means. The F15 Test Day cycle already happened, you can't have a Test Day in that. =)

I've simplified the 'Test Results' table.

I'm wondering if it would be better to split up the two MTA test cases and mention that testing one or both would be acceptable in the test case list.

That way it would be easier to tell which cases are being run and if there are issues that only affect postfix or sendmail.

Fixed

Looks good to me. Thanks again for putting this together.

As agreed at the last Cloud SIG meeting, I've copied the page and categorized it:

https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Test_Day:2011-07-19_Cloud_SIG_Fedora_EC2

This event is finished, so closing the ticket. Looks like it went off pretty well.

This issue has been migrated to Fedora Forge:

Please continue any further discussion there.
