since we are a week postoned, and have time to further testing, I think we could use this for the GA.

This feels like very large potential blast radius with no specific desired fixes for the release media. I don't see why this can't be a post install update.

This is accepted in principle as it's good to get the latest upstream fixes in the release. However, we may decide not to pull it into an RC aimed at approval on Thursday due to tight timing.
