This is a keepalive request for the Scientific lab.

Please reply to this issue by January 14, 2026 to confirm that this lab should continue to be produced for Fedora 44.

If there is no response by the deadline, the lab may be dropped from the F44 release.

There's been discussion on the mailing list that the entry for the SciTechSIG aren't valid. I replied to that thread, but I'll do so here as well, if @lducazu doesn't respond to this, I'll pick up maintainership.

@alking The PR has been merged to add me as a Maintainer for the Scientific Labs. So you can mark this one off as confirmed to keep alive.
@lducazu wasn't in the toml file but if he's around and wants to continue working on this we can get him added there as another maintainer.
