#84 Remove Gnome disks by default
Closed: Can't fix by rdieter. Opened by likw1dus.

I installed Fedora kde via the everything installer. Gnome disks was installed by default. Is this not redundant if kde partition manager is also installed?

We don't specify it in the KDE composition groups, though I see it in the admin utilities group. If you selected that, that's how you probably got it.

Closing as this confirmed to be a comps (groups) issue, gnome-disks is not present on kde spin

So there's nothing that can be done about this?

Users not choose "Admin Utilities" group at install time when using the Everything installer (because that is what includes gnome-disks).

Our primary deliverable (kde spin) is fine in this regard.
