#595 Discover fails to check or notify System Updates

This may be two bugs or just one... i really can't tell.

  1. Discover isn't always checking for updates on system boot and, sometimes, i have to open discover manually to trigger the check.

  2. Also, afaict, depending on the updates available , the update notification icon doesn't always show up (even if there are updates available)

From what i was able to understand if the updates are system updates, we don't get notified at all!
If there are updates other than System Updates the notification does show up...

This is happening on Fedora KDE 41 and may be related to #590
