Whenever I open a chromium apps discord, vscode, google chrome or brave. If it's running xwayland than clicking any menu shows the x cursors instead of regular breeze cursor. It's also found in some reddit post.
What are we missing for kwin_wayland to do the right thing for xwayland apps? @zzag, any idea?
I switched to Fedora 41. And the issue is gone. X cursor doesn't appear in chromium apps.
This was also fixed in f40 3 days ago but i forgot to close this issue.

Please include the output of rpm-ostree status with your report so that we know what you are running.
@siosm
Installed Brave browser, Google Chrome as flatpak. I believe it's because of chromium xwayland having problem with kwin. I tested kubuntu. I didn't have this problem.

For the record, this also sometimes happen to me on Fedora 41 (Non-OStree) in brave and some other apps.
All you need to do to reproduce is find a xwayland window (I usually do use vscode or brave for this) and right-click somewhere, but hold the right mouse button. It'll cause this situation.
It's fixed now in Plasma 6.3.2. https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=499965
