I've temporarily removed @loise from the KDE SIG packager group as a few PRs were merged before they were ready (https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/qt6/pull-request/5, https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/qt6-qtbase/pull-request/17) and there was no answer from @loise on the Matrix channel when Jan asked to not merge those PRs right away: https://matrix.to/#/!RvzunyTWZGfNxJVQqv:matrix.org/$vubo5BDHMo4CmiwfXQysSQ7QLWgFmab86SMHW5ZExS8?via=matrix.org&via=fedora.im&via=kde.org
The KDE SIG really appreciate your contributions. This is really meant to be temporary so that we have can have a discussion around our informal process for code review and merges for KDE packages.
In general, it's best to at least wait for CI to be green before merging PRs. As KDE SIG members are distributed around the globe, it is also best to wait at least a few hours before merging PRs so that people can provide feedback on changes.
Those rules of thumbs are only that, general guidance, and mass updates (KDE releases, etc.) don't have to follow them, nor minor changes to some applications.
They should however be followed for important components in Fedora such as Qt.
If you could join the SIG meeting to chat about it that would be great.
Thanks
We had a chat. I'll re-add Loise.
