#49 Fedora kde docs
Opened by thunderbirdtr. Modified

Hello everyone;

A while ago Fedora is already moving into new docs pages and for that reason I would like to create "kde" page based on this "https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/KDE". I know this page is old but we can modernize and add useful informations and populate more pages If we have to as well. I would like hear others opinion so we can have some nice docs fedora as well.

My ideas are;

How to install
Communication links(IRC(Matrix) / How to install IRC/Matrix clients
Basic use cases (menu,systemsettings,sysmonitor,krunner)
Basic Network setup
Basic Bluetooth setup
How to install dev kits

More or less can be added.

Thank you.

Fedora Kinoite docs need an update too if anyone is interested in helping: https://pagure.io/fedora-kde/kinoite-docs

To create a new KDE docs page, you can do a change like I did for Kinoite: https://pagure.io/fedora-docs/docs-fp-o/blob/prod/f/site.yml#_72

I think the docs should focus on Fedora specific things and otherwise link to upstream KDE docs.

Are there any updates on this? I personally like the idea, because I find Fedora lacks some good documentation on KDE. If this is still desired, I could also imagine contributing.

Yeah I have a repo I created that @radbirb has been contributing to here: https://github.com/farchord/fedora-kde-docs
