This got created because we are likely to make some changes that will require branching.

(Also to reiterate I think the future should be something like https://gitlab.com/fedora/bootc/base-images/-/merge_requests/70 and we stop using pungi and actually build from the Containerfile which will require some deep changes that will break compat)
