This is an unfortunate change that we have to make.

Given the circumstances, I don't see a viable alternative in the short to medium term that would enable the composes to succeed again.

I am not happy about this, it drops actually security features people want.

I suggest we merge this now to enable composes to work and mark the actual bug as a final blocker that gives us some breathing room.

For reference the subject should not be "compose issues" but rather "ostree bugs"
