#9328 Remove my updates from bodhi
Closed: Will Not/Can Not fix by kevin. Opened by alakatos.

Describe what you would like us to do:

Is there a way to delete updates from bodhi.fedoraproject.org/ ? I would like to create a group-update for three packages (rsyslog, librelp, librdkafka) but I can not add librelp because an update was already created for that particular build. I could revoke that update but I could not delete it.
Could you remove the following updates that I created?
https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2020-fc81c51e11
https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2020-fc81c51e11
https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2020-f7d61979bd
I would really appreciate the help, thank you.

hm, you're giving three links here but the first two are the same and about an F33 update while the third one is an F32 update, so you won't be able to merge builds from F33 and F32 in one update. Wrong copy/paste?

Basically, I only need these updates to be removed. Sorry, here are the actual links:
https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2020-f7d61979bd
https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2020-c1d57a27c3

So after that I can add the librelp build to https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2020-fc81c51e11 .

We cannot delete updates. You can also not remove all builds from an update.

So, I would suggest:

  • bump and rebuild librelp-1.7.0-1.fc33 ( so it becomes librelp-1.7.0-2.fc33 )

  • attach that to your f33 update.

  • unpush the old one

Metadata Update from @kevin:
- Issue close_status updated to: Will Not/Can Not fix
- Issue status updated to: Closed (was: Open)

So after that I can add the librelp build to https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2020-fc81c51e11 .

This is a f33 build, so you can f33 build of librelp https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2020-c1d57a27c3 and bump the spec and add the new build to https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2020-fc81c51e11

I dont get about the f32 build of librelp https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2020-f7d61979bd, if there is a f32 update for librdkafka and rsyslog, you can do the same as I mentioned above.
