There's lots of useful info in the apache-status info, like rate of processing, free/busy workers, etc. We should get that into Zabbix as a master item and then create dependat items (as we do with Rabbit, Anubis, etc)
@kevin which hosts would this apply to? Anything consuming roles/httpd?

Well, right now we gather that info in collectd in any place collectd is installed that has a localhost apache answering apache status.
so, yeah, I would say if there's a httpd there we want to pull from apache-status if we can.
That said, I would think proxies would be the high value target.
I think it makes sense to add an HTTPD template to the httpd role. Then it's no extra effort regardless of the hostlist. I'll see what I can do.
