#12661 Minimal Communishift namespace to help with Discourse polls
Closed: Fixed with Explanation by gwmngilfen. Opened by gwmngilfen.

Communishift namespace creation

Project Name: discourse-open-polls

Project Administrators: @gwmngilfen @rwright

Requires Persistent Storage?:yes
I think so, the output is a static webpage

How much space do you need?: Only when yes was chosen in previous line
Barely any, just enough to host a page

How is this project related to Fedora?

Discourse has a slight oversight - one can search for "polls" but not for "open polls" so you can find what you need to vote on.

To help with that, @rwright and I worked on a way around. This involves using an API call to Discourse to get the currently open polls, and then a small amount of rendering to make the page look nice.

I ran this during Flock, and the output is visible here: https://gwmngilfen.fedorapeople.org/polls/ - however, it is hard to automate an scp to this location. I'd like to make a minimal container that regenerates the open poll list regularly and has a dedicated URL. Communishift seems like a good place to test this.
