#12568 Add jpodivin to communishift-log-detective
Closed: Fixed by dkirwan. Opened by frostyx.

Describe what you would like us to do:

Can you please add FAS jpodivin access to the communishift-log-detective project? I thought I can do it somewhere in ansible, but I cannot find it.

When do you need this to be done by? (YYYY/MM/DD)

At your convenience, but he is blocked in investigating a production issue, so rather sooner than later, please.

This should be easy for me to do on communishift itself, but I wonder if there is a way the user can do it as self-service. @dkirwan Do you know how they can do it by themselves?

This is controlled by the fas group I think?

ie, add them to communishift-log-detective group?

Aaah, I did not realize that it is tied to a FAS group. I added @jpodivin myself. Currently waiting for a confirmation that he can actually see the project, and then I will close the issue. Sorry for the noise.

Hi. I've just tested the connection with oc command and it doesn't show me any projects:

Logged into "https://api.fedora.cj14.p1.openshiftapps.com:6443" as "jpodivin" using the token provided.

Do you guys know why? Did I do it somehow incorrectly?

It may be that we need to run the playbook again, but I didn't think so...

I tried to do so and got an error. :(

@dkirwan could you take a look?

Is it possible that he needs to be added to the general communishift group?

I understand that the situation is somewhat confusing, in that we don't know exactly where the problem is. But it would really help if i could get access to the project in openshift, otherwise I find it difficult to do my job.

@jpodivin apologies, it seems like the automation for syncing user group membership between FAS and Communishift was having trouble, once rebooted, your user was added to the correct group in Openshift, you should have access to this project now.
