Summary

This is basically a feature request to have a feature which could switch the site into night mode or day mode view as per the user needs.

Background

The feature would help users use Fedora Happiness Packets in dark with less strain on eyes.

Details

This can be done by making appropriate changes and combinations in the front end of the site.

Outcome

The site will have dual view modes as per the need of user.

If this feature seems appropriate, I would like to work on it.

Hi @richa208, you did not use the issue template. Could you please edit your comment and use the issue template? This helps project maintainers review new issues more easily.

I am not sure if this change matches our project goals. I prefer to see this ticket filed upstream in mxsasha/happinesspackets instead.

Is there any other consideration or need for this other than convenience?

@richa208 Let's go with an upstream contribution for this. This way, we can share the feature with the upstream project and we can go ahead to implement this on our own too.

Hi, thinking ahead for future work on the project, this feature does not align well to our goals. I am not aware of critical needs for this other than an aesthetic appeal. I don't think this ticket is in scope for our project. I am closing this one as out of scope.
