It'd be good to note here that this is an example and that the ID is release/architecture dependent. Maybe something like:
"To launch an instance in AWS, you will need the Amazon Machine Image (AMI) ID for the Fedora image for the region and machine architecture you want to use. the list of regions for both x86_64 and aarch64 are available in the https://fedoraproject.org/cloud/download#cloud_launch[cloud section of the Fedora website]. For example, to launch an x86_64 Fedora 43 AMI in the us-west-2 region, the AMI ID is ami-09d4a84b1cda0ac74. Note that the AMI ID changes with each release."
x86_64
aarch64
ami-09d4a84b1cda0ac74
I know this is how Amazon documents installing the CLI, but we do package and provide it in Fedora. I would start by providing the dnf install command, and afterwards note if the user is not using Fedora, refer to the getting started install page for their specific OS
dnf install
Other than the two notes I think this is fine, although I'm not an AWS expert. I'll give @davdunc a couple days to weigh in before we merge this.
Thanks!
using dnf is the right way to install the CLI and I say that because it is Fedora opinionated. I don't want to say that there are not lags in the support, but I think that we would more likely use the virtualenv for the installation of a later version since there is not really a global deployment expectation with the virtualenv. you might, when installing the pypi modules as a user, install the awscli locally and not realize that you have done so.

Update navigation and add AWS page
Made the two changes as suggested. 1. ID is release/architecture dependency. 2. To use dnf install for installing aws cli on Fedora.
Great, thank you!
