With the increase in content in initramfs, a long-overdue raise
of the default size for /boot is warranted.

Do we need this on Asahi systems? Most of the firmware is either loaded by iboot or just once in on the ESP. I'd rather purge {amd,intel,nvidia}-gpu firmware from asahi systems.

Our host-only initramfs are 46MB and the 6.16.8-400 one even dropped to 29 MB. Using non host-only initramfs' does not make much sense as the storage is internal and non-removable.

I think this is not necessary and one unused gigabyte is painful on 256GB storage devices (which still need a full macOS) install.

Hmm, that's fair. And I'd like for us to switch to /boot as a btrfs subvolume as soon as feasible anyway.

There's a bug tracking the missing patchset for GRUB to let us do this: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/2372973

Build succeeded.
