@germano is trying to update darktable in EPEL-7 and found that it needs a newer version of clang. This is not included in the devtoolset but in a different repository: rhel-7-server-devtools-rpms
This is an RFE for rhel-7-server-devtools-rpms to be added as a buildtime repository like the other SCL repositories.
lvm-toolset-7 is available in the rhel-7-server-devtools-rpms repository for RHEL 7. https://access.redhat.com/solutions/3500401

I'm +1 if it's only buildtime...

I'm working on closing old tickets. Did this ever get implemented?
I've seen several other EPEL 7 packages BuildRequire devtoolset packages, and build successfully. The koji root.log file indicates that the devtoolset packages are being installed from the build repository, so I guess rhel-7-server-devtools-rpms is being merged into that. I'm going to close this as fixed, if I'm missing something please re-open.
