#193 Question about EPEL

I'd like to install R in CentOS8, so I installed epel using 'dnf install epel-release epel-next-release'.
And then i used 'dnf config-manager --set-enabled powertools',
but i received a massage "ERROR : No matching repo to modify : powertools.".
What should i do?

Are you still using CentOS Linux 8 or have you converted to CentOS Stream 8? Early on in the CentOS Linux 8 lifecycle the repository was named PowerTools, but it was later renamed to powertools, and that's what it's currently named in CentOS Stream 8.

I verified that the instructions to enable EPEL work on a fully patched CentOS Stream 8 machine. I'm going to close this issue due to lack of feedback and the fact that this isn't really the correct tracker for it anyways. If you have further issues I encourage you to do one of the following:
