#36 Consider hiding historical elections
Closed: Fixed Opened by tremble.

The list of elections is growing.

While we want to keep the information (probably), do we really want to display more than the last X (15? - just over two releases, would show how a current board member was elected) months worth of election, and just tuck the rest behind a "historical eletcions" link

Assigning to victor to take a look at working on this as a first project.

While I don't necessarily oppose it, I think this should at least hit FAB for comment before proceeding, just to ensure transparency.

Toshio - thanks for posting that. I clearly misread or didn't read the 'tuck' but still a good idea to be transparent.

No problem. Good to be reminded of how our actions affect everyone else :-).

In case there's any replies.

This should be pretty simple as well:

  • Change the index to return only the results over the last 6/12 months
  • Create a new page showing the results of all the past elections
  • Link the index to this new page

This is taken care of in https://github.com/fedora-infra/elections/tree/feature/frontpage

Now that elections2 is running in prod, we can close this
